Pediatric Gastroenterology Department
The Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at Children’s Hospital and Medical Center specializes in caring for children from birth through adolescence, both in the hospital, and in our outpatient clinics.
The sub-specialty clinics within the GI department are unique only to Children’s Hospital and Medical Center, in the state of Nebraska. These clinics are staffed with health care professionals who have expertise in treating pediatric patients with feeding and growth disorders, aerodigestive disorders, celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, food and hypersensitivity disorders, liver disease, and children requiring parenteral and enteral nutrition.
Patients will receive high quality, specialized care from our physician faculty, fellows, certified pediatric nurse practitioners, nutrition specialists and registered nurses. We offer comprehensive diagnostic procedures to aide in diagnosis and treatment plans for individualized patient care. Our Gastroenterologists may serve as consultants to other physicians, as well as provide long term care to patients with chronic disease processes.
