Hematology and Oncology Program

The Hematology/Oncology Program at Children’s Hospital & Medical Center is there for you every step of the way. We offer cutting-edge treatments from experienced physicians and staff who treat children with many different forms of pediatric cancer and blood-related disorders. Your child will receive care from a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals who provide comprehensive, compassionate and family-centered care that recognizes the emotional and social toll that the disease can have on your child as well as the entire family.
Our multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals will see your child in one clinic, eliminating the need to schedule multiple appointments with a variety of specialists in different departments. The team includes board-certified pediatric hematologists and oncologists, a nurse practitioner, registered nurses, pharmacists, child care partners, social workers and Child Life specialists, who collaborate with families to develop a customized treatment plan for each child.
