Registration Information

You will come directly to the C.A.R.E.S. Unit the day of
your child's procedure. It is not necessary to stop in our Access Center, the
staff in C.A.R.E.S. will process your registration information when you
arrive.
Your child is the most important person for the day. Your child will be
admitted to his own private accommodations in C.A.R.E.S. for the entire duration
of his stay. If your child has a special personal belonging (a toy or special
blanket for example), he's welcome to bring it along if it helps him feel more
at ease. Two adults may accompany your child for the procedure. Siblings are not
allowed in the C.A.R.E.S. Unit. So please make arrangements accordingly.
Your child will be asked to change into a hospital gown or pajamas for the
procedure. Older children or teens may desire to bring loose fitting sweat pants
or boxer shorts to wear during their stay in the C.A.R.E.S.
Unit.
