You and Your Child
You and your child will be together until it is time for the nurses or
transport staff to take your child to surgery for the scheduled procedure. The
separation from the family takes place in the C.A.R.E.S. Unit of the operating
room or procedural area. You can remain in your child's room during the
procedure.
